1.1 The Chair welcomed Members and members of the public to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies for absence were received from Huw Irranca-Davies AM. Jack Sargeant AM substituted in accordance with Standing Order 17.48.
2.1 The Committee received evidence from:
· Jane Hutt AM, Deputy Minister and Chief Whip
· Alyson Francis, Deputy Director, Communities Division, Welsh Government
· Christine Grimshaw, Head of Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, Welsh Government
2.2 During the evidence session, the Deputy Minister and Chief Whip agreed to provide:
· A list of the Act’s achievements since the last evidence session took place in November 2018;
· A note on the national indicators, including how they’re measured, responsibility for delivery, how data is collected;
· The Wales Centre for Public Policy research, when available;
· Links to the toolkit for schools and to the online guidance toolkit.
3.1.a The Committee noted the Welsh Government response to the report "Rough sleeping follow up: Mental health and substance misuse services".
3.2.a The Committee noted the additional information provided by the Wales Audit Office in relation to the post legislative inquiry into the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015: follow-up work.
4.1 The motion was agreed.
5.1 The Committee discussed the evidence received.
6.1 The Committee received a technical briefing on the Renting Homes (Amendment) (Wales) Bill from Welsh Government officials.
7.1 The Committee discussed and agreed its approach to scrutiny of the Renting Homes (Amendment) (Wales) Bill.
8.1 The Committee discussed its forward work programme.
